a film called black

Together, the two prolific artists have joined forces to collaborate on a special album + film entitled, “a film called black”, which brings into question the idea of black, who gets to define it, and how do we, as a society, live out this concept of it on a conscious and subconscious level. Stylistically, the album is engulfed in hip-hop, soul, and gospel flavors that highlight the historic values and beliefs of black culture–challenging us to go deeper into our own being to question its value and worth. The album consists of featured guests and musical appearances from the likes of Skyzoo, Sam Thousand, Oliv Blu, Add-2, Avery R. Young, Yaw, and more. Artwork by Paul Branton. Album coming 2024.
